Fire station 209 located at 2800 Main Street.  This is a new development located in the old rail yards.  This property runs parallel to Jefferson Davis Hwy from the Monroe Street Bridge to E. Glebe Rd.  The fire house is located in the north part of the development near Potomac Yards.  Engine Company and Haz Mat units from station 202 will be moving to this new modern station in July 2009.  We are calling this station Del Ray at Potomac Yards.  We want to keep some of the tradition of station 202 to live on.  We often refer to the new station as the yard.  New patches and stickers will be coming as we get closer to moving in.
